SEND

At Whitfield C of E Primary School, we ensure that all pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are supported, regardless of their specific needs, to make the best possible progress, achieve their full potential in school and shine. We ensure that all children are included in all curriculum areas, with the needs of all pupils not just SEND pupils carefully considered. We ensure identification of needs are identified early and provide a continuum of support for children. Our SEND Policy and Report outlines the purpose, nature and management of special educational needs within our school. 

As part of the Local Offer, we have support from an Educational Psychologist, Emotional Wellbeing and Behaviour Team, Speech, Language and Communication Team, Autism Support Service, Specific Learning Difficulties Team, Sensory Support Team and English as an Additional Language Team.
